Updated Eagle Model
George had begun some tests on rigging the eagle and had asked ne to
update the wings to add in some more feathers, straighten out the wings
and slim the connection between the wings and body. In addition, I
tidied up some of the geometry, enhanced the lines on the head and
changed the way the sections wrap around the wings a little. I re-rendered these with a little transparency on the wings and tail, which gives it a more vulnerable papery look.

Paper Mountain
Discussing the distant mountain shapes with Kirti and John H. Is this this the kind of thing everyone else was thinking for the mountains? Feedback please.

Some more paper town testing..
Paper tests, this time procedural textures and luminance maps for fake illumination and windows. Geometry is very simple - its a step forward, but building style still needs nailing I think!

Paper feel test.
Trying to experiment with the modelling/texturing/rendering to get the correct feel for the paper... which is made up of lots of subtle but important features.
I used procedurally generated textures and bump maps on a tweaked automatic UV, which I think is pretty successful and would save a LOT of time. The only downside to this is that in order to apply any displacement maps for detailed paper wrinkles/tears etc, we'd need to fully UV the model which would be difficult and time consuming.
I'm rendering a 40 frame video at the moment to show how the light interacts with the paper. I'll post that when I can.
